Proanthocyanidin A and derivatives thereof

This invention provides pharmaceutical components and food and cosmetic products containing the ingredient composed of compounds with the qualities of strong inhibition of hyaluronidase, and elimination of free radicals and reactive oxygen species.
This invention; (1) includes the property of a compound containing proanthocyanidin A and derivatives thereof as an active component, and provides (2) pharmaceutical components with a purpose of either of hyaluronidase inhibition, fighting allergy, anti-inflammation, or elimination of reactive oxygen species, and (3) antioxidants, cosmetics, and food products containing proanthocyanidin A and derivatives thereof.
